Formal Wear For Men

Many occasions demand people to wear formal attire. Occasions such as weddings, dances, and important meetings often make it mandatory to wear formal clothing. Formal clothing can be broken up into two categories - the white and the black. The category depends upon the type of occasion and time of the day you are supposed to attend the function or the occasion. Unless otherwise specified, formal clothing for men generally consists of a tuxedo and a black bow tie.
• White tie
It is the most formal of all attires. When the invitation states a white tie, it generally means you are expected to don a black tailcoat, black trousers having a black satin strip running down on the outside seam, in addition to white suspenders. A stiff white shirt along with awing collar should be worn beneath the tailcoat. It should be accompanied with a white bow tie, white waistcoat, and black patent leather shoes. The shirt cufflinks and studs should be of white or silver color. Accessories can include a white color pocket square with white boutonniere. Alternately, white evening gloves can also be worn, although they are rarely used even in extremely formal parties and gatherings. A typical black top hat is a characteristic trademark of white tie formal attire.
• Black tie
Often called a dinner jacket, the black tie is less formal and more in vogue. It is required to wear a normal tuxedo featuring a black short coat, or a dinner jacket with matching back trousers, with a black strip of satin running down the outside seam. A white shirt having a plain or a pleated front with a turndown or wing collar should be accompanied with a jet-black cummerbund or an evening waistcoat. A black bow tie is also required. Alternately, white pocket square may be added depending upon choice. Shoes of black patent leather complete the formal attire. Modern black tie formal dressing offers some flexibility in what could be worn in exception of color and jackets. Instead of the traditional black color, a midnight blue could be selected. The jacket could be single or double breasted depending upon choice and preference. Typically, single-breasted jackets have one to two buttons, while the double-breasted jackets can have up to six buttons.
• Daytime formal wear
The most formal daytime wear dress generally includes a morning coat or a black frockcoat, accompanied by a white tie. At times, when weddings are held during the day times, the coat could be colored with light gray or other shades of white. During the wedding ceremony, it may not e required to wear a white tie.
Anky clothing is more popularly known for its comfort levels. A formal dress made out of the material can include many accessories, including the Anky saddle pad.
