The Hidden Simple Secrets of Cooking for Pleasure

Cooking is an art, it's a very beautiful yet delicious picture drawn by the cook. When I thought of writing an article about food and cooking, I found the title "Cooking for pleasure" a very interesting one. As for me cooking gives pleasure, even if this is one of women's daily tasks and basically some women see it as her daily punishment.
Why should we see cooking as a pleasure!! Let me briefly explain how passionate and practical the joys of cooking are.
Anything in the fridge can do the job; if you have nothing in the fridge, you can still manage to prepare the most delicious dish, just use your leftovers to create a change. If you for instance have rice as a leftover, a little bit of béchamel sauce and cheese on top then in the oven for like 15 minutes, you will sure have the tastiest dish ever.
Using a mix of vegetables like bell peppers, tomatoes or mushrooms can change the dish from just simple and boring rice leftover to an extraordinary one. So this can also go for pasta dishes, chicken and meat. You should think of new creative ideas to change the dish and go for it.
Many people do not know the magic of herbs; herbs are just magnificent with any dish. Mixing up herbs in your cooking will spring your dish with a flavor you will hardly forget. You should go for all kinds of herbs, since each one holds a different and unique taste. Thyme and rosemary fit perfectly with chicken, nutmeg and Italian herbs mix well with meat, cumin and coriander are the magic herbs for cooking fish. You can also add anything and even more from the above mentioned on vegetables and rice to give them the tasty flavor that can hardly be tempted.
Sauces for instance like soya, barbeque and the Pomegranate molasses can bring tenderness and a rich flavor for both chicken and meat. As for Lemon zest, it does the magic of imparting a strong citrus flavor to foods. You'll just love it in chicken and fish that will leave you craving for more.
Most people basically know how cheese can also change the taste and add a very delicious and rich flavor to all kinds of food. Probably some people get introduced to many kinds of cheese in various pasta dishes. But actually cheese being added to all kinds of food not only dough based foods, like pasta and pastries; gives a great flavor to it, which includes the leftovers and salads along with different vegetable stuffing's.
When you decide to cook, the sky is your limit. No food is hard in cooking, all kinds of ingredients are easy and reachable, so being able to create a beautiful harmony in the food you cook will make you love doing it more often, think of combining and bringing together different flavors and don't be scared to try as you'll never spot the difference until you keep on trying for new stuff.
Cooking is a pleasure and it feels like real happiness when you cook for the people you love, your family or your husband and kids, seeing their happy faces and the joy your food brings to them will push you more to always do your best in bringing up more wonderful flavors. Cooking should never be a task it's a pleasure, you will feel very glad when you know nothing tastes better than the food you cook...
